Castor + Pollux is and gallery and bookstore located on Brighton’s beach front. The gallery specializes in print and illustration by both local and international artists with changing exhibitions. The bookstore has a wide variety of art and design books specifically with graphics in mind.
In addition to these we also have textiles, glass, pottery, a kids department, jewellery and stationery.
Castor + Pollux is on Brighton’s lower promenade halfway between the piers, and opens out onto the beach with direct views of the sea.
Their website lists some great illustrators which they represent and gives links to their sites including the lovely Andrew Mockett. They represent other interesting illustrators including Christopher Corr, one of my favourites Lo Cole and the ubiquitous Rob Ryan.
