If you haven't been to see it this exhibition by Jake and Dinos Chapman at Hastings Museum and Art Gallery is well worth a visit. Jake and Dinos went to school in Hastings and completed their Foundation Diploma at Hastings College before ending up at the R.C.A. They are represented by the White Cube Gallery who also represent much of what is new and interesting in british art.
What comes out of the show is interesting idea/s which are pushed to the full together with a real attention to detail, to realizing their ideas as perfectly as possible. The presentation is worth looking at too.
This may be too late but Jake is participating in a talk on Wednesday 3rd March 6.30pm at the museum. It is overbooked but they are looking to stage the talk in a larger room to meet the demand. So if you phone the museum you may still get in on the act.
