Thought I'd post this for anyone who may be interested, or knows anyone that might be!
East Sussex Open is an open submission exhibition that will showcase the work of artists from East Sussex. This will take place in conjunction with the Eastbourne Festival 2010.
The exhibition will take place in the ground floor exhibition halls (668 square metres with 4.5m ceiling height)at the Towner Gallery, Eastbourne. Artists should consider the vast size of the exhibition space before submitting work (it is advisable to have visited the gallery beforehand). Although work of all sizes will be considered we would actively encourage large-scale works.
Towner Open 2010 is open to artists and makers working in any media who live or work in East Sussex.
Work will be put to a panel of judges who will carefully select work to be exhibited at the gallery in April 2010.
