Inner Pasta

Here's a great example of words changing the way we see something as commonplace as pasta. Putting different ideas together ie pasta and inner psyche is a really creative route to take. See more of Edward Monkton's work on his website www.edwardmonkton.com

This image is on the front of a calender I've bought for a friend who is a psychiatrist.

I saw another great example of a story changing the way one sees a quite ordinary object on Monday when year 1 trooped down to the Old Town and Fishermans Museum to hunt down curiosities. In the museum there was a very small golden brooch which had a golden coin attached. The story goes that one of the very few fisherwomen found the coin inside a fish she caught. The coin turned out to be from Guatemala, South America. Strange things can happen.
